Snowboarding & skiing RV road trip in Hokkaido, Japan. This is the ultimate freeride journey for true freeride enthusiasts.

Accommodation & transport

This trip is designed as a road trip. We travel and stay in a roomy RV (camper) and enjoy traditional onsen every day! Experience the Japanese Cuisine at its’ best Sushi ramen daily.

Length & itinerary

The trip length is 11 days in total, including at least 1 day of not skiing/snowboarding for refreshing.

Destination and areas for skiing/snowboarding depend on the mood of the crew and weather & snow conditions. Usually, we ski in resorts when it is snowing and we hike when it’s not. We move where the best pow is, based on the latest snow forecast. We have our own home on wheels so we can sleep right next to the hill being ready to ride. Our flexibility is the key, which allows you to be in the right place at the right time and that’s the biggest advantage of this trip!

The trip duration gives us a lot of time to explore most of the Hokkaido Best Freeride Destinations. Niseko, Furano, Sapporo area, Asahidake, and Kurodake are on our watch list.

Trip activities

You will enjoy Hokkaido’s famous powder and at the end of the day, we go bathing in traditional thermal outdoor hot-springs (onsen). In the evenings we treat ourselves to local Japanese Cuisine but cooking in our camper is an option as well.

We can also visit whiskey distillery or we can create a culture program according to your wishes. We have a plan, of course, but it is open to the group preferences and level, weather conditions, and forecasts. Just go a bit with a flow and this is what makes an adventure, right?

This trip is designed mainly for private group travels, let us know your schedule and we will find the best time for you and your crew. From our own experience and long term statistics the best term is the end of January till the end of February.

Price & Group Size

The RV is for 5 people = 4 people + guide. The trip price depends on group size and days of traveling/skiing.

The standard scheme is 4 free-riders, 11 days trip for approx. 2500 €/person. Price includes 2-days ski pass in the desired ski resort, camper rental & onsen fees. Price does not include food and drinks, alcohol, gear rental, flights to/from Japan and any other expenses like insurance.
